My second week on IMVU I was trolled by a bunch of people, course they where VIP and course they decided they would be the ones to make a report on me, said they were going to as well so I also made a report. Now that being said I know it wasn't for money but they are mad at me and I'll say why. Although I wasn't going to pay yet until I got the money the next week I saved the page so when the answer came in I could. you may have lost more money by ruining your trust base with the banned users and even now the users who didnt get banned are more weary of spending money, worrying about getting banned for earning credits.īeen denied AP twice even after showing an ID. and run a room with a couple thousand views, now many people i know cant talk to me, this really makes me lose all faith in spending money on imvu for the future, im sure the other 100, 000 feel the same way.
also i paid for vip, ap, and credits, im also a creator with over 80 products. its a bit ridiculous to ban users for using a link thats posted on the imvu client home page in the top bar. i cannot find such limit, also you should make it more well known and attach to every link saying "warning you may be banned for earning too many credits" also its not anything new, ive been earning credits this way for over a year and just recieved a permanent ban. Why are we banned for simply earning credits from the same source that dosent have a limit, encourages you to keep going by showing an indicator of earnings, and the videos stay up allowing you to continue earning, many websites have daily videos that sometimes in one day come back multiple times, i called tech support and they said theres an earning limit in the terms of service. I tried so many times to create tickets and try to understand more about what do they mean by associated with users ? and how come i am being held responsible for other user's action they kept posting saved replies saying that the account is permanently banned and they have evidence but they do not share these evidence. Suddenly got disabled again with a reason of "Being Associated with a ring of users defrauding IMVU". I left IMVU for a while (few years) and when i finally decided to forget about it and start fresh i created a new account in 2014 and just recently few days ago. Which i know for sure that i never attempted any kind of fraud.
I got my 1st account banned with a reason of "suspected in fraudulent activities" and not specifying what was done exactly that was considered a fraud.
They will simply wait for you to make purchases and spend money and if you stop spending for a while they will eventually accuse you nonsense and disable or ban your account. They don't care if you are a long term user and they don't care if you're a respectful person.
IMVU is an organization that truly aim for gaining as much money as possible and deal with users like they are insects or nothing.
