The proposed budget addresses the social-emotional well-being of our students and staff. These funds will allow the District to provide the necessary programs and services during this time when the District is transitioning out of the pandemic. The District will be receiving additional State and Federal support through an increase in Foundation Aid and from the Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act and the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. There are four candidates running for two open positions. Voters will also elect two members to the Board of Education. We are now in the final weeks of our 2021-22 School Budget process leading up to the vote, on Tuesday, May 18, at Johanna Perrin Middle School gymnasium from 6 a.m. Thank you for those of you who have been engaging in the budget development process these past several months – whether participating in our ThoughtExchange, PTA meetings, attending public meetings or forums, or by contacting us to learn more information – your feedback shaped our budget development.
